Hey brother. This is Justin-TCM from youtube :)
Thanks for letting us play the test demo. I think it's a great start. I'm not totally sure what you intend to fix and improve on, but I wanted to note a few things.
1. the "d" Reset should need to be confirmed. I accidently pressed it a few times and that would just start me over when I didn't really want that. Maybe put the button for it elseware also, like an "i"
2. Some of the sprites are not seamless, for example a corner on level 1 goes flat and then the other edge just kind of ends. Doesn't have a bend in it.
3. If after activating something, when you see the animation take effect for a door opening, I would like to be able to "tab" and then start moving my other character right away. It takes about 5 seconds until I can move it again and it feels awkward.
I enjoy it and can't wait for the full release.
Thank you for your feedback brother! The "D" restart button is a mistake that I accidently left in. Whoops. The tile map issue you are addressing in your second point is a new glitch that I have to troubleshoot and fix. As far as point three is concerned, I will do my best to improve user experience and game feel without hindering game flow.
Again thank you for your valuable feedback! If you haven't already, please feel free answer some questions about the project:
